When placing an order for any of our services you agree to our terms and conditions.

Commissioning a Home Information Pack or Energy Performance Certificate By ordering an Home Information Pack or Energy Performance Certificate you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and are at least 18 years old
How the contract is formed between you and us Our web site allows you to request details of costs for the preparation of the Home Information Pack or Energy Performance Certificate for the property advised by you. We will respond to any enquiry by e mail or telephone giving you a cost based on the information you have provided to us. All prices quoted by us are valid for 28 days. You can then decide to place an order via our web site or by the telephone or post. We will call you to confirm receipt of order. Your order constitutes an offer by you to us to buy a Home Information Pack
Price and Payment The price of our Home Information Packs is based upon freehold properties registered at the Land Registry and where your property is leasehold or unregistered additional fees will apply. The price for an individual EPC will be based upon the size and characteristics of the dwelling. Delivery of Home Information Packs is by electronic means or on disc sent via royal mail Delivery of standalone EPC's is by electronic means or via royal mail for Home Information Packs only. Additional fees of 10.00 GBP is required if a Home Information Pack is required in a Hard Copy Format - This is to cover the cost of Printing/Binding and Postage. If you have been quoted an incorrect price by us we are not obligated to supply the service Payment for the Services always has to be made in advance of the Home Information Pack/Energy Performance Certificate being delivered. Any exceptions will be notified in writing. Payment can be by cash, cheque or PayPal,
Cancellation Right As a consumer you have a cooling off period where by you can withdraw from the contract for whatever reason. The cooling off period ends 7 days from our initial contract offer. Any cancellation must be notified to us in writing. This provision does not apply to business to business transactions. If you are a consumer the cooling off period and the right to cancel will not apply where the Home Information Pack or Energy Performance Certificate has been issued to you or you have opened e mails/sealed envelope containing disc or hard copy Home Information Pack/Energy Performance Certificate or we begin the preparation of a Home Information Pack/ Energy Performance Certificate by agreement with you, before the cooling off period ends. Contracts cancelled by you within the 7 day cooling off period will be refunded in full. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning any Home Information Pack or Energy Performance Certificate to us. Refund of any monies will be processed as soon as possible and the refund of monies will be via the same method that the original payment was received by. If you cancel the contract you will remain liable for the cost of any third party reports already ordered or obtained by us.
Information You will be asked to provide information about a property which will form part of the publicly available Home Information Pack. Therefore, it is important that all the information provided by you is as accurate and complete as possible. You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware that the information supplied is inaccurate or incomplete in any way. You agree to pay our fees if you have supplied the incorrect address
Third Party Reports During our preparation of a Home Information Pack for you, it will be necessary for us to obtain reports from third parties on your behalf in relation to the sale of the property.
The fee we charge you represents costs of obtaining the third party reports on your behalf Should the actual cost of purchasing a third party report be higher than initially envisaged we will notify you of the higher fees prior to ordering the report and only proceed with your approval Energy Survey Services will at all times endeavor to obtain any required third party reports from suitable parties whom we believe have a suitable level of competence. Energy Survey Services are not liable for contents of any third party reports
Our Liability Energy Survey Services are not responsible to you for any data that you lose from any e mail we have sent you. We shall not be liable for any use made of your Home Information Pack or Energy Performance Certificate or information contained within it by third parties once your Home Information Pack has been made available to the public. We accept no liability for any loss of income or revenue, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data, any consequential loss or damage of any kind however caused.
Written Communication Certain applicable laws require that some of the information we send be in writing. You accept that when using our site the communication will be mainly electronic and for contractual purposes you agree to this method of communication and as such the communications are in writing.
Cancellation by us We reserve the right to refuse or accept your order for a Home Information Pack or Energy Performance Certificate for any reason and we do not have to give you a reason.
Unexpected Event Energy Survey Services will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or any delay in performance that are outside our control. Examples are but not limited to Industrial Strike Earthquake Fire Flood Storm Theft of Equipment War Terrorism
